The Personal Journey Behind the Platform
Hi, I'm Alex, and I created Memento Mori Email because I lived the problem it solves. As a digital nomad for the past 5 years, I've worked from 23 countries while maintaining a long-distance relationship with my partner Sarah, who's based in Toronto.
The wake-up call came during a particularly rough flight from Bangkok to Berlin in 2023. Severe turbulence had everyone gripping their seats, and all I could think about was: "What if something happens to me? Sarah doesn't know my crypto wallet passwords. She doesn't have access to my business accounts. Worse, she'll never know how much I love her if I can't tell her one last time."
That night, from my Berlin Airbnb, I started building what would become Memento Mori Email. Not just for me and Sarah, but for every digital nomad, remote worker, and anyone in a long-distance relationship who understands that love transcends physical distance—and should transcend time too.
